The artist is painting in front of his former farm. The lime-trees, grapes, roses, cock, peacock , snail, guinea fowl, frog and the dog all took part of the life on the farm. The egg can be seen as a beginning out of which vegetable, bestial as well as human figures come into existence. A tiny plant and a heart are appearing out of the egg. The tiny plant ducks behind the board and appears in the front again. The little mouse is watching the scene. One can see this work as a bond , a completeness of the artist with his territory.
